About Us

Who We Are

The Muslim Business Association of Aotearoa New Zealand (MBAANZ) is a national not-for-profit organisation dedicated to empowering Muslim entrepreneurs, professionals, and business owners. Our goal is to foster a thriving, values-driven business ecosystem grounded in Islamic ethics, collaboration, and sustainable economic growth.

MBAANZ was established to address the growing need for a unified national platform representing Muslim-owned businesses across Aotearoa. We serve as a bridge between entrepreneurs, communities, policymakers, and industry leaders — ensuring that Muslim businesses have access to opportunity, representation, and meaningful support.

Our organisation welcomes businesses at every stage of their journey — from start-ups and small enterprises to established professionals and global exporters. By creating spaces for collaboration, mentorship, and advocacy, we aim to strengthen both economic participation and community wellbeing.
